last evening in twilight, venus, at her most brilliant and brazen best, hung low in the sky and challenged all the blinking, winking neighborhood christmas lights to a cosmic twinkling contest.

I like this view of space, so many people forget the space beyond the snow as it falls. Some people see the snow and feel as if they're in a whole new world, if only they saw that space was still there, changing with everything else.
