I said goodbye today
As I walked away from your grave
It hurts so much to just leave
Feels like I'm leaving you all alone
You left our lives too soon
It's been almost four years
And I still remember that phone call
Like it was yesterday
I miss you
And all the times we shared
I'm no longer mad
That you were taken from us too young
I am however, still sad
You had such a promising life
You brought happiness to everyone
Your smile lit up the room
I only hope you are in a better place.
