OBLIVIOUS

Everyone complaining, no one knowing why. People not knowing what to talk bout so they yell at everything. Searching for a purpose to fill their daily chores. We turn outward in hop to find a plan. When all along we've been chasing the answers in a backward motion.

We're oblivious because it's us not them.

The people and their riots causing violents in the streets. The protestors and their picket signs causing anger in the minds of their followers. The leaders with their mindless ramble, using every clever cliche possible to pull at the emotional ties that bind us all together. All the while plotting to steal from the very souls that gave him power and blindly follow his lead; all in hopes of a greater form of freedom somehow. Never questioning but never knowing why.

We're oblivious because it's us not them.

When the day is done and all is gone and said. No one ever listens to that tiny voice inside their head. The easiest action to do today is poitn your finger and tell them who to blame. "It's never me, it's never anything i do." And you continue your constant babbling in hopes of falseful justification of th true reality no one wants to admit. If you quit pointing your finger at others then I can tell you who to blame. The key to your life and your problemsdoes not lie in any one him or her.

We're oblivious because it's us not them.

I don't think I really got the "it's us not them" of it.. could you clarify a little?

the point is simply that we need to start blaming ourselves and quit pointing your finger at others. It's always ourselves that need changing...

I see... I guess I thought it was something more specifically directed at one person or about one topic, but you mean life in general, right?

yes sir, for the most part - each individual has to change to change things to their liking. but en masse, people need to change themsleves and quit blaming others, yes.

Thanks
