View Full Version : Final Descent

Nightfall finds me
many hours into darkness,
my sunset early.
Thoughts of you
makes me wonder,
did you survive?
Should I care,
no,
but
I do!
It was a long shot,
but you made it,
dead through
my bleeding heart.
The stars are out,
gleaming.
Their beauty
lost
on me.
I am stranded
in the void.
Blank staring
eyes
seeing
dark shades drawn
trying to see
some hope
for you.
Impossible
from what I know
of your
dark and empty world.
I see
off in the distance
a shooting star.
Was it you
making your final descent?

now this is brilliant. The darkness...the last line...excellent! I think this is one of my favorites by you. The torture and hopelessness comes through brilliantly. Just wow!~Dandy

Another great one. I think things are getting closer with the site bro. at least i hope so. I haven't been posting here as of late for personal reasons plus I've been finally digging in to some new poems. Most of the poems i've been postin have been older ones. I think you're gonna like the newer stuff though. Anyways, i'll give u a holler later. Good work again C. zack

Yea, I heard, but you have the right to post what you want without incrimination as long as you follow the rules and keep it clean. Thanks for the comment my friend, keep posting, it's an open site bro.

This part is probably my favorite part of the poem. Shows decent into death with lots of imagery.

Thanks Morgan, yes this is about someone's descent into their deep dark depression, sometimes this is a living death, so you nailed it my friend. iblieve
