View Full Version : Hypothetical Situation

What do you do when your head’s locked to the ground
When you’ve had a magnet placed in your brain
What do you do when you’re spinning around, upside down
When it’s earth’s poles that make you feel pain

You cry
Those golden tears
That fall
Metallic and angelic

You lie
Sweet silver secrets
That hiss
Sizzling with sedition

What you do when you’re hair raisin’ mad
When your fists are clenched and your teeth are grindin’
What you do when you’re sick with sorrow
When the sadness seeps like sap in your skin

You fly
Far, far away from friends
That call
Laughing like trees too tall

You tie
Tongues twisted in knots
That kiss
Tingling sensations of tangerine

What do you do hanging from the sky like a bat
When your feet are clenching clouds
What do you do when you see with your ears
When all you have are eyes

You die
Down in your tomb
That solves
All of the problems

What do you do, what do you do
What do you do

Would you do what I do?

Okami, you have such a wonderful array of powerful words here that tug on the senses...tase with the tangerine kisses, sight with the golden tears, hearing with the hissing and sizzling secrets...not ot mention the beautiful sound all the words have together. You also tap into emotional senses too, which is excellent. A wonderful flowing read- Lyly

dancer_diva...thank you.

Lyly, it is the not the words but their sounds that give their meaning...onomonopoetic...I think is the term. Thank you.
