For hours
she cries,
pleading,
begging for
answers..

Why?

Stone-faced and
cold,
his grave offers no reply.

Thank you for the welcome iblieve. There's more where this came from.

Zack, I try my best to come to terms with these kind of emotions so as to be able to move on. Thanks for the reply.

I'm sorry that it rings true ascension. My condolences, and thank you for responding to my poem.

Wow, it's been a while. Thank you Dennis, from sooo far back in the year. I have actually seen something similar to this, a man sitting mournfully at his wife's gravesite almost continually. I marvel at that kind of love, unbroken by death.

Thank you for digging freedom, and I'm glad I planted something decent. :)

I found the perfect forum for it THawk. This forum is like Darkness Central. Thank you for replying.

Thank you Angie. While brevity isn't my forte, this piece kind of indicated to me when it had made its point.

Yes Wulf, it can be incredibly hard to hear an answer over the deafening of a tragedy. But still hope remains. Thank you for your reply.

I'm glad you got to read and reply Dandy. Thank you my friend.

I'm truly sorry to hear that this resonates so strongly Lynn, especially with such an innocent life lost. I admire (and echo) your faith that you will someday have the answers that elude you at the present. Thank you for sharing your reply. My hopes for your peace.

I appreciate that C. There is usually a glimmer of hope, even in the darkest night. Thanks.
