This poem does not in anyway endorse or condone suicide. The reference to it is to show just how desperate we can become. This is the essence of dark poetry, writing about depression so others may understand. iblieve

When nothing ever works what do you do?
When life isn’t nailed it’s screwed!
Hope is a though that’s already left,
that’s when you wake up and find yourself
playing Russian roulette with a loaded gun.
Every chamber full but one.
Spin the chamber a round
Click, click, click ,click,
then the hammer comes down.
No sudden pain, no serenity,
even fate is mocking me.
Wanting to die but it wasn’t my time.
There is never no rest for my weary mind.
At least I tried.
Lay down the gun with a longing sigh.

See tearyeied, I know this place. You're not alone and guess what, now less than a year later I have never been happier. Keep writing my friend

I can always count on finding you in the dark...lol. Great symbolism...these days I feel like playing that game myself. But seriously...nice job. ~Dandy
