I saw innocence washed away
by the brutal sweep of your hand.
I saw the baby tears boil up
as you forced yourelf into a man.
The skirt became a tattered rag,
your lust drove her closer to death.
The blouse the young girl wore,
stained from the heat of your breath.
The sheets became red like the Nile
when Moses was rebuking the King.
The child in her died by your love,
replaced by a half womanly thing.
A woman born from blood and fear,
raped until all childishness was gone.
The woman has now become me,
this is my story, this is my song.

You are my dark mistress and the keeper of my light. Damn is this a violent, tragic piece of writing, so real I could visualize it as I read it. Beautifully dark my dear iblieve

Thanks Soul and Strawberry...this was a hard write but healing all at the same time. I can now write my book without crying through every word. Some scars can be walls, other a signpost to the future ahead...I choose the latter:) Thank you for your comments as this was a very personal piece to me.~Dandy

I never understood how a person could want another when the other does not want them. I'm sorry for your pain. You expressed it well in this rhyme.
Perhaps there will be punishment for this one who did this to you.
This was realy a good piece of writing and thank you for sharing this verry personal moment. Again I am sorry for your pain.

Dandy, This brought tears to my eyes. I remember when Iblieve once wrote a comment, saying that only ones who know of darkness can write about it. Sadly, your words reminded me of my own haunted past, your words are so real... It hurts to comment on my own memories.

I may not know of your pain, but I know of mine, perhaps they are similar. I lost my innocence before I understood what innocence was. the child left me, forever gone. I will always miss her and wonder who I might have become if not for those nights I endured. But I know that I would not be this strong - tho, there are days that I don't feel strong. Thank you for sharing your pain. It helps to know that, in ways, I'm not alone.
