(i know i shouldn't post two pieces at one sitting, but computer access is limited - i'm on borrowed time - mine is in the shop. so, i'm just making hay while the sun shines, feeding my addiction!).



the gold now total gone
to gray, treeless leaves lie

out of play;

gum balls
grounded, besoms sway
to sweep the breezes
gone the way of all the things
that had their day
of summer,
all hay

made.

Wow, very interesting way to put a poem together :)

Winter may take away, but summer will always return. Well written indeed...
