Thinkin about all my younger days
There's hardly much that I remember
My mom and my dad went their separate ways
I guess that was for the better

Don't know the meaning of 'together'
Cuz I've done all I've wanted my way
And I just can't believe this weather
The snow starts piling on the highway

As I'm on my way back home
Stuck with the radio on
It's playing your favorite song
About the girl who danced alone
And my feet are gettin cold

The frozen air outside grows colder
I'll wait here for the plows to pass along
Imagine you're hall fall on my shoulder
These tears I'm crying tell me I've been wrong

Now I'm on my way back home
Stuck with the radio on
It's playing your favorite song
About the girl who danced alone
And my feet are gettin cold

I don't wanna live out this life on my own
Please help me to give this a little more thought
Cuz lately I've been the one throwin stones
And I don't wanna live out my life all alone
So I'm comin home

I put the car back into drive
As though I'm coming back to life
And when the day is breaking new
I'll be there safely next to you

I'm on my way back home
Stuck with the radio on
It's playing your favorite song
About the girl who danced alone
And my feet are gettin cold

I don't wanna live out this life on my own
Please help me to give this a little more thought
Cuz lately I've been the one throwin stones
And I don't wanna live out my life all alone
So I'm comin home

Gosh lf,
I must be one of your biggest fans. I have to be.
This is incredible and really hit me.

I noticed your voice got a lot stronger on the last verse.
I don't wanna live out this life on my own
Please help me to give this a little more thought
Cuz lately I've been the one throwin stones
And I don't wanna live out my life all alone
So I'm comin home

You seem to have more confidence in your voice by the end of the song. The end result was spectacular!
You did well with making "on, home, song, cold and alone" rhyme.

I love every single bit of this one.
The chorus, everything.

Please, please come to visit us more often. I enjoy reading and hearing you so very much.

Hugs,
Britt
