I like this piece too. It's short. It doesn't spend long going into the depths of the sorrow felt by the main character (you I assume). It makes these things clear succinctly which I like. Thanks for sharing this.

I came across my username when reading a passage from Plato's 'Cosmic Love'. In it, Plato is speaking with, Diotima, a woman from Mantinea who is wise about love. She tells Plato that she believes mortal creatures achieve immortality through reproduction, because such a thing cannot occurr out of disharmony. She believes therefore that "Beauty is the goddess who, as Fate or Eileithyia, presides over childbirth". Therefore, an interpretation of 'Eileithyia' could be the beauty found within the cycles of love and life that exist in this world. I like the meaning, and how it rolls off my tongue. thanks for asking about it!
