We're all just lost
On the wild street of desire
But how dare you stare
Like what you see is unacceptable
I will resist these feelings more
Then I can even choose
But once he's in my arms
I only have you to loose

So dont you dare tell me
That love will make me bleed soon
Dont you dare pretend
That you see what I will do
So what if love has left you faithless
Love has surely made me cry
But dont you dare tell me
That I will loose control
That what i have will surely die

Here sit your restless motives
You only want to pull me out
The devil spends his days
Parachuting in the Northern Alps
Breathing words poisoned, full of doubt

Dont you dare tell me
That love will make me bleed soon
Dont you dare pretend
That you see what I will do
So what if love has left you faithless
Love has surely made me cry
But dont you dare tell me
That I will loose control
That what i have will surely die

So sure of yourself
When you thought that I would never know
But he'll push me further then you ever have before
Your looking for a reason
Showing that you have control
But he'll push me further then you ever have before
HAVE BEFORE

Dont you dare tell me
That love will make me bleed soon
Dont you dare pretend
That you see what I will do
So what if love has left you faithless
Love has surely made me cry
But dont you dare tell me
That I will loose control
That what i have will surely die

Dont you dare tell me
That what i have will surely die....
That what i have will surely die
That what I have will surely die.... (repeat till fade)

I could tell you were extremely passionate and somber with this piece. The way you repeated things worked well here.
It's simple but the force and emotion behind it is evident and it's what makes this song so much more.

Great job with this one.

I really like it too. I think the restless motives line is increadibly strong but i do feel somewhat disconnected by the devil alps line, perhaps i'm missing some reference???

Yeah i was a bit iffy on the devil part too at first but i decided to keep it in because if you really look into it then it makes sense and im definetly one to write songs with deeper meanings that not many other people can understand. Basically in those few lines i wanted the Northern Alps to symbolize like a "high" period of somebodys life where this love is going great and everythings wonderful and then the devil parachutes down and breathes words poisoned, full of doubt that kind of ruin the whole effect of the moment.
I can completely understand how you didnt get that because its definetly not self explanatory. But I hope this helps. Thanks for bringing that up to me. I certainly appreciate it.
