Planet Cancer

i live on planet cancer now
the sky is always grey
life on planet cancer
is pretty much that way

everyone's alone here
no one wants to say
what everyone is thinking
it has to be that way

everyone's alone here
there isn't much to say
here on planet cancer
it's raining every day

there aren't any guarantees
it's anybody's guess
the wind on planet cancer
is the icy breath of death

everyone's alone here

here on planet cancer
the wind blows every day

here on planet cancer
there's safety in the night
'cause in the dark you cannot see
what planet cancer's like

but in the end you cannot hide
and you can't run from it
planet cancer's where you are
and isn't that just ****

it's a world that's parallel
to the one in which you walk
and when you pass me on the street
i stop and idly talk
until you ask me how things are
and i evade an answer
because i hope you’ll never know
what it's like on planet cancer

This is one of the darkest poem I have read by you my friend. This is so dark and I felt it rip my heart out with fear when I first read it. Glad to know thing are alright for now. My friend, this was heart wrenching:( Know we are praying for a complete recovery and a very long life. I think this poem is so beautiful because you have described this pain at its core. I am glad that the news is brighter and I am praying my friend, I am praying:)
