Oddity
Bright snowflakes drift down lazily,
they sparkle whitely in the sun.
The spring sun is shining brightly
and highlights every single one.
How very odd it seems to me.
To see the sunshine and the snow
fall seemingly in harmony.
Upon the waiting earth below.
I don’t recall I’ve ever seen
a sight that’s quite like this before.
With drifting snowflakes in between
the blue sky and the valley floor,
but nature lets no man dictate
We can but wonder watch and wait
