Hollowed out
Just walkin in skin
So easily pushed away
Leaving footprints of a shadow
For you to remember me by

Locked it out
Locked it in
But with one question
You managed to break in
And see it all; see the fall

You say that you can tell
And anyone at all
I’m so damn transparent
Guess I didn’t know
How much my eyes can show

I’m just hollowed
Walkin in my skin
Sometimes perceived as shallow
As that puddle on your road
Careful so you don’t step in

Wouldn’t want your toes to get cold
Wouldn’t want to damage your prefect soul
With the shallow footprints of a shadow
With the dirty remnants of myself

Maybe someday once you’ve been
The places I’ve been
Your skin will meet the skin
That I’ve been walkin in

This skin I’m walkin in
This skin I’m walkin in
Skin I’m walkin in
Yeah maybe someday your skin will meet
This skin
This skin
I’m –

This skin I’m walkin in

i gotta say i thought this was a little off in the first verse, but by the time i got to the end, you were just hammering me with meaning, rhyme and onomonopoeia. very good i can really hear a singer getting motivated by this!!!
