I think verse 3 is the most telling.

Thanks. I like the 3rd verse the best aswell. I actually wrote the song when I was (unsucessfully) trying to go to sleep.

This song explains so much and though it may be repetitive with the sleeping bit, it reall sets the mood and tone for when you wrote this one.
I also agree about verse3. The entire song could center around it. It stands as the foundation for this.
