I got this from my Beththepoet for Mothers Day...
hath my God ever deceived me?
these roads I have taken, these places I have tread
were they already there, or just in my head?
and the pain my God has taken away, will it come back another day?
or will it stay, safe in His breast, never showing its face again?
will love given from me fade, or shine brighter?
the days pass, joys and sorrows, and I live till I can no longer
though my doubts may be wide and long, my God goes on forever -
and he has proven
my imprints in the sand will never fade
