Night Sky

Gazing at the star-studded sky
reflecting on the day gone by
wondering what tomorrow will bring?
I search for the brightest star,
for you will be there waiting.

The clouds roll gently by
almost like a lullaby
adrift on the night sky.

My world is serene
as I gaze at the scene
before me.

I want to clasp it in my hands
...hold it close to my heart
I want this night to never end
...to be apart of my memory
Forevermore.
