in a phantom fork treeline
a burly ghost exists
its twinelike memories
are balloons in the wind
a curl in a stand
hosts the tines of hawks
bursting from the shells
while I learn to walk

I love the first stanza but must admit I am perplexed by the second!

TR, the metaphoric first stanza, in which nothing exists, introduces the second very nicely.
I interpret the second as an analogy comparing the beginning of life between humanity and, in this case, hawks. However, it could have been any other living creature.
Bottom line, “Neo-Natal” is a well written narrative of neo-natal no matter where one’s place is in Nature.
Nicely done.

wrap the authors? Well now I feel stupid because I don't think I see what you're talking about. *looks again*
