Under the arms of ancient elm and oak
Each reverent dancer delicately toed,
A 'twirling in the verdant, twilight lush
Behind a canopy of green and gold.

The Lady, shining fair in gilded dress
Extends her hand, a welcoming to spring.
Her lord accepts, virility abounds;
He joins her in each elemental dance.

Their fingers twined, eyes fixed, around they go,
A whirl of hours, of days that mark the year.
Each step they chose sends light high and aloft
To vanquish any gloom that dare remain.

The branches overhead relay the song
Of starlight whispered gently on the bough.
The melody swells, singing in the blood
That runs through every limb of flesh and wood.

A binding; life for life, of earth to heart,
The patterns spilled and spoken in the dance;
Each a part of each, of heart to sky,
All spinning 'neath the wheel as ages fly.

Spring is a time of rebirth, even just birth. This is the message I extract from this very vivid piece.

The extended metaphor, that which conceives the new life, is gentle, yet strong.
The Lady, shining fair in gilded dress
Extends her hand, a welcoming to spring.
Her lord accepts, virility abounds;
He joins her in each elemental dance.
This particular verse melds the strength and gentleness more vividly than any other. It also works well as a pre climatic segue.

Nicely written song of spring.

Thanks for reminding us of the season that will soon arrive, Allura.
