Sea serpent.
A scarlet snake swims swiftly by
seeking only safe sanctuary.
If you should take him by surprise
his venom will belie his size.
One single bite and you are dead,
that is why nature paints him red.
So foolish men will not mistake
the coral for a harmless snake.
Leave him alone let him swim free
and he’ll ignore you happily
He will not interfere with man
and will avoid them if he can.
So should you meet show him respect
if not you know what to expect.
