Early morning bird song
reaches beyond the
sound of the dying storm
to awaken the spring buds.

It is like a kaleidoscope
of color
…brightening the grey sky
music for all the senses.

The smell of spring flowers
floats on the breeze
scenting the air with
sweet perfume
teasing the honey bees.

Rain falls in the forest
of the mountains
pitter patter
of raindrops in the
freshwater springs.

Animals frolicking
amongst the trees
then the seasons start
to change and bringing with it
warm days and warmer nights.

Insects buzzing on a
warm summer eve
like little drummers against
the night.

The nights turn cooler
with the taste of dawn
on a clear autumn morning
crisp, yet refreshing
brisk, yet invigorating.

The feelings of serenity
that comes with
the fall of night, abounds
with the setting of the sun.

The buds are sleeping
at winter’s approach
in this little valley
so full of peace.

It transcends
everything and yet
life continues to
evolve in this valley
undisturbed by mortal man.

A valley still
and never changing
God’s little
heaven on earth.

I would not say that it is harbouring a soarineagle. I would say that it is a haven for all creatures big or small. thank you for your comment.
I look forward to reading posts about my work.
Take care.
may your angel wings soar high in the sky.
