past the gates and summer's flight, away,
into a dreamless night.
no one sleeps.

and miss their luckless yearlings.

strange. last night i dreamed about the biggest, fearsomest, strongest bull!!!!! it was chasing farmers away from the gates,
in a big field - it wouldn't let them through the gates, out of the gates. they were trapped in the field with the bull. they were shouting for me to get out of the way, but the bull wasn't interested in me, but in keeping those men inside that gate.

hmmmmm? the gods must be pleased. :)
