time is frozen in fields of blue
where thin mint cookies sprout
virtual in the spring
picked best
the chocolate round
and served lukewarm
with glass of cold milk

dimples on a napkin
wrinkles on a plate
folds grow into pleats
and you can’t beat
a box

each spring
between doorbells
between rings

how I miss
the green

a cookie-laden Girl Scout would be a welcome contrast in the low, grey days of solstice...

nice la-mint-ation :)

oh, mac! this evokes such lovely memories. one of my old husbands had a penchant for mint! he grew, i'm sure, near every kind. what a treat to stick my head in the pots and stir the leaves!!!!

lord, i miss the green, too!!!!

you have planted an idea!!!!!!!
a lovely mint garden come spring!!!!!!

great poem mac, you are a pro!

I was wondering why my chocolate mint looked like it had seen better days.
