The Spring

Out from pelvic rocks
babe river newly glistens
reflecting thanks to the Sun
while mountains humbly listen

Her birth a glittering ribbon
pulled tenderly from the soil
She gurgles in glee and passes
arthritic trees bent in toil

The River

Now she swells and shares tales
with roots of old slouching boughs
her fuid body turned strong and wild
Runs free calling souls to rouse

Orchestral birdsong
answers her call
as she jumps the rocks and

melts
over the fall

The Ocean

Vast and deep; as ancient as Sin
with the power to crush and smother
beneath the surface that entices Sun
vast forces shift this ageless Mother

She shimmers under the moons caress
frangrance lingers on the winds cool breath
You may sail upon Her tranquil limbs
and in waves succumb no sweeter death

As old as Love
Her wisdom is this

daily reborn in her springs gentle kiss~

thanks, this was from a couple of years ago but I felt ready to revisit... please comment if something doesn't flow (no pun intended) :)

Also, the title was originally Water Trilogy.... changed it at the last minute (one of those spontaneous moments you contemplate the benefit of later)... any thoughts?
