Morning choristers

The dawn breaks and the night departs.
The new day starting quietly.
A blackbird from the hawthorn tree
conducts the morning symphony.
The other songbirds sing their parts.
The skylark flying high and free
adds her voice to the harmony
and soon the whole world seems to be.
Engaged in praising from the heart
their great creator lord and king.
He taught the songbirds how to sing
to celebrate the sun’s rising
He finds himself well satisfied
with anthems which his birds provide.
