detox from the first world

i'm writing from mexico, in a place i wish i could claim was accessed only by burros or helicopters, but alas, i got here by airplane and taxi.

Another Good Report

I had another appointment with my ENT doctor yesterday, my throat is still healing, and no visible signs of a tumor. I've also managed to gain a couple of pounds so I may be able to get rid of the tube in a couple of weeks. I still have problems sometimes eating meat and bread but it's getting better. I usually don't look forward to Christmas ( born on Xmas eve) but this year is different because I wasn't sure if I'd be here. Funny how the mind works. Course I'm also hoping to be able to eat...
