It got up to 60 degrees (15 C) today! With a light westerly breeze and nary a cloud in the sky, it was the perfect day to wash my bedding and hang it on the line to dry. While draping the sheets & pillowcases over the clothesline, I heard the distant display drumming of a woodpecker echoing from the woods - not the quiet, private tap-tap-tap of a bird foraging for grubs, but the flashy, public, Buddy Rich tatoo proclaiming, "Fittest One Here! Check out THIS woodpecker, Baby!" Then,...

Without a muse technique will fall flat in the creative process. My current writing pales in comparison to my former golden years. However, I can't relearn writing. My bipolar manic states enabled me to write truly inspired, passionate, and vivid poetry. No amount of learning technique will restore that ability. My only choice is the take the meds...
