My time in texas is comming to an end it seems.
My job seems all but sure to ask me to resign.
I have collected my 30 eviction notice because my roommates family is moving in , and there is no other option. I never did finish all the things I hadlanned to do in texas ,and have 30 days to strongly think over my next step. Do I go home tp the east coast , do I purge this undying urge to go west to cali. It is I suppose an option to live the land here for a coupla months and do all three...

A few months ago a new neighbor moved into my complex next door. He approached me in a friendly way. His first question was "what do you do?" I replied that I am a care giver for the elderly. He said he had a relative who told people that. However, all his relative did was care for his mother. So in this guys eyes work isn't work unless you're laboring for the man in the capitalist system.

I work seven days a week for my mother. She is in a wheel chair most of the time. So...

So I was making my weekly tithe to DeMoulas Market Basket late this afternoon when I noticed a young woman at one of the produce bins. She looked to be about 20, and obviously had some degree of cognitive impairment. She was accompanied by an older (50-ish) woman I assumed was her mother. She was gently directing her daughter's attention to the carrots and squash, helping her pick out some fine specimens.

Lipitor Blues

I've been seeing the same doctor for almost 9 years now. I've been on the same meds almost that long. However, last month he put me on a lipitor cholesterol reducing med. Since then I've been more irritable, less creative, and more cloudy in my thinking. I rarely write poetry anymore.

So I did research. There are myriad articles and studies showing that this med can have cognitive side effects. I told this to my doctor and he dismissed it. He acknowledged that there was controversy...
