Becoming A Moderator
Moderators act as hosts and leaders for a forum and in fact for the whole community. They help keep forum activity lively, assist members to feel at home or better use the forums and ensure community standards are maintained.

Volunteer at Arcanum Cafe
The community environment of the cafe has always been one of our most important and booming areas. We currently have a really good group of people that volunteer their valuable time to help maintain our community. But there is always room for more, especially as this site continues to grow daily.

Leading the way
So what does it take to be a moderator at AC? A person that:

• Loves the written word, poetry and the various arts
• Enjoys helping and interacting with people
• Regularly visits our community forums
• Wants to help make AC a better place

• Be a role model for others & thus added admiration and respect
• Know you're helping to shape the future of this growing site
• Interact more with others & make perhaps deeper friendships
• Access to staff areas (like staff forum plus other special areas)
• Learn more about how the web works & gain leadership experience

• Are you a registered member of our forums?
• Do you have regular access to the internet?
• Do you have less than 2 TOS violation notice?
• Can you commit at least a few hours a week to moderating?
• Are you willing to learn more about AC to help others?
• Have you been a registered member for at least 2-3 months?
