when: 2:58PM - 3:08PM (MT)
where: can't pinpoint, but Middle East
source: most likely Jastor though Lustonia is also a possibility.
cause: presumably just threads falling into place and tightening on the weavework... noting here just for records so perhaps one day the causation can be pinpointed in hindsight

Okay well I've sort of been gone for about 5 months now from the site... other than the occasional rare popping in when forced to by Pam. Will I did warn people I was quitting after we reached the 10 year mark on the site. Basically I was burnt out and let myself get addicted to other internet fun.

Just updated our forum software with a new patch that was released earlier today to fix a possible security issue. (3.6.8 >> 3.6.8 PL1)
No template modifications or anything major required. There should be no discernible changes I believe. If for some reason something now no longer works as it did before for you, then please let me personally know immediately.
Next up today or tonight is an upgrade of the blog add-on software, which is only to fix existing and known...

Btw, the above incident I reported is my firsthand report of this... it's been over a decade... so I'm a bit rusty on the journalism.
Anyways... this happened directly outside my apartment... additionally based on comments overheard from police on at the scene it seems that the initial word is/was that the suspect might have been crouched outside one of our bedroom windows when police either first spotted or confronted the suspect....
