41 years since man set foot on the Moon, so they tell me. All that way just to play some crazy golf, fool around a little, stick some coloured flags in the sand, pick up a few souvenir rocks, and take some pretty pictures to show the folks back home. Could've saved billions and just had a day at the seaside instead.

For all you out there not part of the would-be United States of Europe, I have to tell you that last night we were subjected to the 2010 ESC (see title) watched by a TV audience of zillions, or so they tell us. To many of us in the UK this is about as relevant as Mrs Beeton's cookbook, i.e. we know it exists but it is way out of date.
