..hi Sierra and mike poet..

..i appreciate the comments..thanks

..Sierra, i just noticed your comment yesterday
and that is why i didn't answer earlier..well,
i'm not sure i understand the point you're making
..a channeler is usually the conduit through whom
a spirit addresses the world..but, as far as i'm concerned, it's always different..i, even, ask my
guiding spirit, Ram, and spirit Harmony to reach
into my mind and to pull out whatever poem
is lurking about there and They (individually) send these words through me, to my hand holding the pen; it is spelled out on the alphabet and i read
it once the writing's done..thanks.i know
i haven't answered your question..though..
and almost all of the poems i've posted in
Arcanum have been of the 'channeled' variety,
adding to my confusion in regards to your
question..let us smile, dear Sierra..

..hello Fauve..

..thanks for your comment..if you read, above,
my comment to loisseau, you'll find an
elementary explanatrion of tanka, as it is
more-or-less written today..another thing
about tanka (i didn't mention it there) is that
the first three lines mention a nature subject
and the last two lines deal, very often, with
a personal observation of the narrator..and the
two parts somehow magically blend, and often
refer one to the other..and often, the third line
enables the first three lines to read as one poem
and the last three lines to read as another poem
..if you google "tanka explained" you will
find much more elaborate explanations..thanks..

Spiros,
merci....so much...sounds delightful...may attempt to dabble a bit...I like challenges.
Must admit, since Judih's post...have been contemplating haikus.
Am ever so 'reconnaissante'....j-a
