Default I hope this helps

How come you're uniformity?
When I ask about life,
you quote the rules.

But when you asked for truth,
I smiled and told you lies.

I'm combat.
I'm all I laugh and point at,
but so are you.
We should just relax,
and forget that we're not ourselves.
I was a boy in mud.
You were skirts and attitude.

We should forget that humanity hates us.
They only hate themselves.
We hate humanity and ourselves,
we're not what we ever thought we would be.

I'm King Arthur.
I was what there is before the American Dream,
before they sold me debt for things,
before they starved us out on what's not needed.

I wish for my friends.
I want them not to be dead.
I hope they quit glaring at me.
I hope I kick their asses.

I hope that words are creations again,
instead of commodities and rated things.

I hope you keep looking at me
with eyes like wolves.

Officer Somebody's on the prowl.
His lights are off.
He wants to capture someone
in an act of indiscretion.
So does everyone.

I want to see you in a scowl.
Not you sweety, them.
You want me insecure.
Not me, them.
You want me afraid.
You get what I mean.

reality has razor teeth
beneath them lying eyes
and dreams rarely live
long enough to truly die

Thanx everyone. I realized last nite that I've been getting that creepy feeling in life that I'm not a real boy and remembered that writing something always works out some positive bleeding for myself and gives me back some truth about me that I can go out and use. I'm glad you like it, and I do hope it helps in some small way. Dreams rarely live long enough to truly die; I'm trying to remedy that one for myself. That's a loaded couple statements there Mac. So glad I put this here and you guys were the ones who found it. Cheers.
