No no, you have to compare someone to Hitler to Godwin a thread, not just say his name. Like, "the thread starter is like Hitler for blah reasons". Just joking there typically.

I don't know about that. I gave him my baby to kiss - and he bit it on the head.

I think that makes him more C.H.U.D. than Hitler.

(For those of you who do not feel like using the google, C.H.U.D. stands for "Cannabilistic Humanoid Underground Dweller".)

Actually it makes him more Hilter (sic) than Hitler - the reference was to an old Monty Python sketch.

I missed a Monty Python reference? I am ashamed.

hitler was a vegetarian...
He was also a believer in animal rights, and would reportedly become queasy and look away from any depiction of animal cruelty. The animal welfare laws introduced by the Nazis are still present in modern German law, though in a somewhat modified form.

While we're being confrontational:

It's "it's" when it's not possessive: "it's" is a conjunction of "it" and "is":

It's a lovely day today. NOT: The day distinguishes itself by it's loveliness.

It's "its" when it's possessive: this is counter-intuitive and yet them's the rules [sic*].

The dog is chasing its tail. NOT: The dog thinks its a perpetual motion machine.

Carry on

* To preempt anyone's irony meter: them's is clearly incorrect, the correct conjunction here is those're. It's okay to break them rules when it's clearly intentional... this is called "poetic license"
