Poet Laureate
|
Life goes on as we struggle
in the muck and mire of a superficial world with all its shades of gray. I’ve lived my life mostly as I please The smiles and frowns wrinkle deep. Over the years, I fell in a rut or two stumbled down wrong paths even been lost but no matter what I always survive. |

Very true, Mac. I appreciated and enjoyed the metaphor of this poem! You've got a great sense of life, I think. Good job!
