Running and maintaining a site of our size that has no financial backing means there are out of pocket costs which always have the potential of someday making the Cafe a forgotten memory. So to prevent that and to potential help pay for site improvements, the Cafe offers the following ways to help financially:

Paid Forum Subscriptions
Registered members of our community forums can upgrade their memberships with additional benefits at a small nominal annual fee, which is not automatically recurring.
Shop at AC!
You can visit our store section to purchase books and AC items (clothes, mugs, etc.). A small portion of the profits help this site.

Note: All monies generated by Arcanum Cafe will be used strictly for supporting and developing this site (which includes the cost of hosting, scripts, software and hardware) and no other reason. Any money exceeding our normal expenses will be used only for expansion of Cafe projects and promotion of the site.

Spreading The Word

One of the simplest ways you can help us is by spreading the word of our website, services and community to others. This can be as simple as recommending us to friends and family. And for those of you with websites or homepages, you could even link to the Arcanum Cafe. We even have several graphics you can use if you want for that purpose. See our Linking to Us page.

Volunteers Needed

The Arcanum Cafe is always looking for good, reliable people to help with the management of this site. Volunteering can sometimes be as simple as donating a few hours a week. Somethings we could currently use a hand with:

Ad Manager
We could use someone to actively manage our internet ad program, solicit and manage paid advertising as well as PSAs (public service ads) on AC.
Moderating Forums
The community environment of the cafe has always been one of our most important and booming areas. And we could always use good people to help manage the forums by deleting repetitious posts/replies, keeping discussions in the appropriate areas and just generally interacting with and helping people. We currently have a really good group of moderators, but there is always room for more. See our Becoming a Moderator page for more details
PHP/MySQL work
We are always in need of some one with profiency in PHP scripting especially with MySQL database knowledge in order to add new features as well as greatly improve the site's backend.
